Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office, for which she was awarded the Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress as well as two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from the Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was born and raised within St. Louis Missouri. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was younger, which instilled a love of performing and theater.
She's an actress trained who returned to the stage after The Office. The Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. In the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's absurdist comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's best friend in real life and Fischer launched with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, the year 2019. The show quickly became popular. Every week, it was among the Top Ten in global downloads, with over 200 million in just its first couple years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Awards in January 2021.
The Actor's Life was her first novel, and describes the path she traveled from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood and then to Hollywood, where she was a professional actress. Her second, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is a memoir of her best friend and their experience working at The Office.
