Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, the French city of Puy-deDomme on August 9, 1976. Audrey is the largest child among four children. The actress was inspired by her parents, dentist and a teacher who were both teachers to follow her love of theatre. This was in contrast with her previous desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she was a fan of monkeys. The rise of her as an actor in the young age was quick and marked by early success. It was only in 1999, the year she first began performing professionally. After her studies, Tautou was a participant in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was raised in the context of a Catholic home and went to her church even though she went to school within school at the Institut Catholique de Paris. In addition to her acting profession, she has also pursued modelling. The model was of L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and has been referred as "The Chanel Muse". Alongside her acting career, she has an interest in photography. Recently, she exhibited a selection of her photographs during the Arles Film Festival with the title Superficial. Her work is focused on celebrities as well as popularity. Also, it features an assortment of self-portraits as well as a special focus on journalists who have closely scrutinized Tautou following her rapid success after Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big part in the film Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie made international waves in the field of box office, and won awards around the globe. The film is still the top grossing French film in the US. Following this film, Tautou appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
