Born on March 29th, 1985. She was born in Roswell New Mexican. Gerina Michelle was her maiden name. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). The mother of two is a Mexican by blood however she has an American nationality. From the time she was a kid, she has had a strong determination to be involved in activities. Gerina started playing golf at the age of 15. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. When she was a student in high school she was the winner of in the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. In addition, she was a volleyball player at the national level. 2003, she began studying in the University of Texas. As a senior, she won every single tournament that she played in. In her undergraduate years, she was awarded Conference USA's individual player of year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of Year.
